Maara: Designing Change

Founded by Yuwaalaraay designer Julie Shaw, MAARA is a fashion label grounded in Country, culture, and collaboration. As the brand matured, it needed a sharper, more confident identity to match its ambition. ET helped to evolve its brand from cult favourite to global contender, without losing its soul.

The result? A bold, unapologetic identity built to elevate purpose, attract partnerships, and redefine Indigenous-led fashion on the world stage.

NATIONAL JUSTICE PROJECT:
Fearlessly fighting injustice

2023

The National Justice Project needed a brand that could amplify its impact, increasing awareness, driving donations, and staying true to its bold, culturally sensitive mission.

With a clear new purpose — to fearlessly fight to end discrimination — we built a striking brand identity grounded in truth, urgency, and advocacy. The result is unapologetic, progressive, and built to challenge injustice at every level.

The Family Co:
From Strength to Strength

2022

To help a regional not-for-profit grow into a national organisation, we renamed Sutherland Shire Family Services to The Family Co. — a warm, inclusive brand that removes geographic barriers and opens the door to new partnerships and funding.

With a vibrant identity and welcoming tone, The Family Co. now supports families across Australia, proving how the right name can drive growth, trust, and connection.

We back bold ideas with brand power.

Apply now to become our next HumanKind recipient, and let’s build something that makes a difference.
